My family owns two dogs. My brother’s dog, Ume, an American bulldog, and my dog, Copper, a yellow labrador. Ume is only 4 years old, while Copper is 8 years old. When I was a little girl, I always loved cats, and my brother loved dogs. Now, my brother loves cats, and I love dogs. I think I like dogs better cats because they listen more, they’re more loyal, they’re easy to train, and they take care of you. My mother had many dogs when she was growing up, and my father also owned a dog. I think they want my brother and I to experience having a dog as a part of our family.

Today, I had a meal with some close family friends at a Korean Restaurant. Whenever I go to a Korean restaurant, I almost always order Kim-Chi JiGhae (Kim-Chi Stew). That is definitely one of my favorite Korean dishes! But, this morning, I actually tried to make this dish. To do this I went to Marukai Market (もちろんですよ）and bought Kim Chi, Beef, Green Onion, Kim Chi base and more tofu. Unfortunately, the flavor was different than what you can get at the restaurant. But, even though it wasn’t that great, I hope to improve upon. Thus, I’ll ask my Korean friend and hopefully he can tell me some useful hints.

Instead of that, I ordered some BBQ and was very pleased.
今日の諺：「骨折り損のくたびれ儲け」でした！

　妙に、寒気がするし、鼻がしゅんしゅんする。

　最近、じめじめ、蒸し暑くて、窓を開けて寝ていたのが祟ったのか、風邪気味です。　いや風邪です。

　解剖の勉強もせにゃいかんのに、勉強も手につかず、そんな状態にイライラの悪循環。　

　とりあえず風邪を治すことに専念しよっと！

近所に住む友達のバーバラは、日本で育ったので日本語もとても上手なんです。とても仲良くしてもらっていていろいろお世話になっています。

そのバーバラが、家族でフロリダのご主人の実家へしばらく帰ることになりました；；でも１，２年を目安に必ずハワイへ帰ってくると約束してくれ、バーバラ家の植木や大切なものを預かることになりました。あーーぁ淋しくなります。娘さんのHarunaちゃんは、一番可愛いときで私にとてもなついてくれています。しばらく会えなくなると思うと本当に淋しい。

Harunaちゃん小さいからすぐ忘れちゃうのかな；；アンティ・ユミを忘れないでね。

大阪医科大で行われた
『東洋医学とペインクリニック』という講習会にいってきました。
大阪医科大にはペインクリニック部門があり、鍼灸科も活躍しています。

今回の講習会では、
そこで行われている鍼治療の手技、東洋医学の古典の解説、
痛みに対しての薬についてなど様々なことを知れて面白かったです。

痛みの薬って様々なんですね〜
抗うつ薬や抗てんかん薬、抗不整脈薬まで痛みに対して効果があるのは驚きました。

Yesterday, I went out with my girlfriend before my baseball game. My mom said that’s the last time I’m going to do that. While I don’t feel like that’s really the reason, I still have to stop and think of that as a possibility. Because I went out with my girlfriend before the game, I couldn’t focus on playing. I know it’s not my preparation physically, becuase I’m in my backyard everyday practicing, and I’ve never made mistakes like this before. I was just mentally nervous when I got on the field. I made a few freak mistakes, and luckily it only resulted in one run. I have to thank my teammates for supporting me and helping me play the rest of the game error free.

English has always been my weak subject, up until now. I am currently getting an A according to my English teacher, which is a big surprise for me. My mom nd dad have been pushing me to get better grades, so I figure its better late than never. I hope to hold this grade the rest of the summer.

タイトル何にしよかな〜とスケートを見ながらキーボード打ってたら、上記のように打ちあがりました。ということで、タイトルの意味はなしです。しいていうなら、「私はとろみどりです」と打とうとしました。

同僚が屋久島に行くようで、かなりうらやましい私です。いってらっさ〜〜〜い。私もあと一日仕事終えたら、花の3連休。な・の・に。前後に仕事関係の用事があるからどこにも遠出できず。でもそれなりに気分転換しようと思います。

耳鼻咽喉科の入院患者さんが窓際にちっちゃくてカワイイお魚を３匹飼っている。名前をつけてるらしく、「みみ」「はな」「のど」　耳鼻咽喉科にちなんでか…　でも、のどちゃんって、どうなんですか、そうとうおもしろいんですけど、看護師の中でめちゃヒットしてます（笑）

今日は、夫と共通のお友達の家へお食事に行きました。彼の家はカイムキです。

今まで招待されるときは夜でしたので、今日まで彼の家から見渡せる景色がこーーんなに美しいとは気づきませんでした。海が一望できて夜は町の夜景がきれです。
