On July 4th, my wife and I ran in a 5 km race at the Marine Corps Base.  The race was called the ‘Runway Run’, and it is named that because you run on the main runway for most of the race.  The race started at 6:30 am and there were about 450 runners.  We enjoyed the run, and afterwards there were refreshments and draw prizes.  We look forward to next year’s run!

I have just gotten off of the most exciting and depressing emotional roller coaster that I had to ride these last two months. Finally getting back on a smoother track. I swear, these last two months were filled withe greatest of joys and the lowest of lows. But when you think about it Life is pretty much always a roller coaster.
